Rhianna Bridgett
Senior Myotherapist & Founder of The Wellness Nest
Rhianna is a passionate manual therapist who is proud to offer holistic myotherapy treatments that are tailored to your needs.
Ongoing education is a priority for Rhianna, as it ensures she is able to offer the very best treatment options for her clients. She holds a Diploma of Remedial Massage and Bachelor of Health Science in Musculoskeletal Therapy. Rhianna also recently received the highest qualification in Australia for the profession – an Honours Degree in Myotherapy from Endeavour College of Natural Health.
Rhianna has worked in elite sport for many years, including 9 seasons with the AFL. Outside of her clinical time, she works as a Myotherapy lecturer at a tertiary level, and enjoys mentoring other myotherapists who want to build a successful practice.
After working in the profession for over 7 years, Rhianna created The Wellness Nest. The Wellness Nest’s vision is to incorporate the many skills of myotherapy into a calm and relaxing environment. Her goal as a practitioner is not only address your musculoskeletal complaints, but to optimise your overall wellbeing and encourage self-care.
As a result of creating The Wellness Nest, Rhianna has been able to express her keen interest in Women’s Health. She is passionate about creating a safe, relaxing and therapeutic environment for all Women at any stage of their life. Due to her own ongoing mental health and dysmenorrhoea history, Rhianna is especially passionate about breaking the stigma around both these topics and empowering women to live life to their full potential.
When not working, Rhianna is a devoted mother to her rabbit Lumiere – you might spot Lumi on the clinic’s Instagram from time to time.
Another love of hers is indoor plants. According to Rhianna, plants are a lot like people, ‘They grow and thrive based on the love and care they are given, and thrive in different environments that suit their unique requirements’. You’ll see some of her favourite plants scattered throughout the clinic.
Sarah Antoniou
Myotherapist
Sarah Antoniou graduated from Endeavour College of Natural Health with a Bachelor in Health Science (Myotherapy) degree.
Growing up, Sarah was always fascinated by how the body works. But she also learnt about the body’s limitations through her many years competing in various sporting activities.
Following a family health crisis, Sarah was able to understand how the body’s movement patterns can be drastically affected. Combined with her genuine caring nature, this sparked a desire to change lives. Now, Sarah supports people to move past their physical limitations, pain and dysfunction.
Sarah incorporates a range of manual therapy techniques and a holistic approach to client care. Each treatment is tailored, creating an individualised treatment based on your needs.
Although Sarah enjoys working with all of her clients, she has an interest in treating headaches and migraines, chronic pain, neurological symptoms and postural dysfunctions.
In her spare time, Sarah loves the great outdoors – camping and hiking are two of her favourite hobbies. She also enjoys baking and cooking, but admits that her kitchen skills are still a work in progress!
